The owner currently operates as a sole trader. These details will be updated with those of the corresponding company once its registration is complete.

2. Services offered

Catallaxis Capital offers investment consulting, financial education and personal finance services:

• Initial setup (one-off payment): a training session by video call covering economic theory, investment assets, platforms and monthly savings planning.
• Monthly subscriptions (Shrimp, Shark, Whale): access to recurring informational and educational content according to the plan taken, as described in the services section of the site.
• Subscriber area on the website: with a subscription in good standing you get the full model portfolio, the memo behind every change, and a tool to track your own portfolio.

3. Educational nature of the service

All services are educational and informational only. The content reflects the owner’s personal interpretations, analysis and decisions. It never constitutes personalised financial advice, an investment recommendation, an offer to buy or sell financial instruments, or a portfolio management service. Catallaxis Capital is not an investment firm and is not supervised by the CNMV or by any other financial regulator.

The model portfolio published in the subscriber area is the one the owner applies to his own capital. It is not a personalised recommendation, it takes no account of any subscriber’s circumstances or goals, and copying it is each person’s own free decision.

Every investment decision the user takes is the sole responsibility of the user. Investments carry a risk of losing the capital invested. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

4. User account and access

Creating an account on the site is free and does not by itself grant access to the paid content: access is switched on by the owner when the subscription is up to date, and switched off when it stops being so.

Credentials are personal. The user is responsible for keeping their password safe and for letting us know if they suspect someone else knows it. Sharing the account or the paid content with third parties is grounds for cancelling access without a refund.

The tracking tool keeps the user’s figures in their own browser and not on the owner’s servers. That means the user is the one who keeps them: if they clear their browser data or change device, those figures are lost and the owner holds no copy to restore them from. The tool itself lets you download them to keep.

5. Ordering and payment

An order starts by booking a call or getting in touch by email. Payment is currently made by bank transfer or cryptocurrency, after email confirmation of the service taken, its price and these conditions. Prices shown on the site are in euros and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Subscriptions: term, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions run for one month and renew for further monthly periods. The user can cancel at any time by writing to contact@catallaxis.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period, with no penalty and no minimum term. No pro-rata refunds are made for periods partly used.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under the applicable consumer regulations, a consumer user has 14 calendar days from ordering to withdraw without giving a reason, by writing to contact@catallaxis.com.

Exceptions: if the training session is fully delivered within the withdrawal period with the user’s prior express consent, the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been performed. For subscriptions, if the user accesses the content during the withdrawal period, the proportional part of the service already provided may be deducted.

8. User obligations

Subscription content (reports, analysis, portfolio composition, memos and private channel communications) is for the subscriber’s personal use. Reproducing, redistributing or reselling it without express authorisation is prohibited. The user undertakes to provide truthful contact details.

9. Limitation of liability

The owner is not liable for losses or damages arising from the user’s investment decisions, from the use of the information published, or from temporary interruptions of the service due to technical causes beyond his control. Nothing in these conditions limits the rights that consumer regulations grant the user on a non-waivable basis.

10. Changes

The owner may change these conditions and the prices of the services. Changes will not affect periods already paid for and will be communicated to subscribers at least 15 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts that apply under the relevant consumer regulations. The user may equally turn to the European online dispute resolution platform.
